Beam’s Founder

James Dolan

James is the former Digital Channels Director at ITV Studios, bringing over a decade of experience in social video strategy, content distribution and monetisation. He began his career at Disney and Little Dot Studios before moving into consultancy, supporting leading TV distributors and producers including All3Media International and Acamar Films.

At ITV Studios’ commercial arm, James led the digital content team, overseeing the distribution and monetisation of a 90,000 hour catalogue and driving record growth in YouTube and social video revenues. This division later evolved into the now-named Zoo55 venture.

During his tenure at ITV, James managed a portfolio of over 140 digital and social channels, from single-IP brands such as Hell’s Kitchen to newly launched genre and thematic channels including Our World, Our Stories, and True Lives.
